Position Summary:
Under the supervision and the direction of the Head of Mission, the Security Advisor initiates all appropriate risk management actions in the objective to mitigate existing and pre-identified risks and proposes the adequate protocoles/guidance/tools/support services, related to the safety and security, and the protection of assets in mission. S/He oversees all technical security support provided to the field in areas related to the security of staff and activities (assessments, contingency plans, scenario plannings, etc.).

Under the supervision of the Head of Mission and with technical support from the Regional Safety & Security Advisor-RSSA, the Security Advisor is a focal point for the deployment of the new security

EOD / IEDD Trainers

Location: Somalia/Mali

Rotation: 12 weeks on, 3 weeks off

- Minimum 8 years' experience in EOD, IEDD and C-IED including operational experience in Hostile   Environment within the last 3 years

- Proof of qualification/certification from a recognized training center

- Fluent in English, spoken and written, French speaking would be useful but not essential
